So last year, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to head out to the Panama City Airport where they had 3 World War II planes on display.
They called it the Wings of Freedom Tour where the Boeing B-17 “Flying Fortress” and the B-24 Liberator “Witchcraft” drew the biggest crowds with veterans who had actually been on these planes, the stories they had were just unbelievable.
Well now that chance to see great pieces of history is back and they will also have a P-51 Mustang out there as well!
I’m very excited to see these planes again with the B-17 being one of only 9 remaining planes in flying condition! They even had someone take it out for a test drive which was a great scene to watch!
Come be a part of this living history program for the Collings Foundation.
They ask for a donation of $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12 years of age!
