I believe everyone is ready for this weather to warm up so we can break out the flip flops & beach coolers. But Spring Break is literally just around the corner and many people have already booked their vacations for Panama City Beach so we must enjoy the quiet now while it lasts!

Next week, everyone will finally be able to put their minds at ease with the spring openings of many stores since many close for the winter. The unemployment rate will go down and you will probably see a big increase in your mood and wallet as well!

So soak up that sun and enjoy the next few days of quiet time while you can!

It’s crazy to think it snowed in Atlanta yesterday huh?

Palm Trees In The Snow!

The last time it snowed in Panama City Beach, Fl was 1989 when I was just 3 years old!  At 23 years old I just might get to see it again in the early Friday morning hours as the temperatures get well below freezing and there is a very large rain front coming through! Snow is pretty much covering over the Northern East Coast right now and building rapidly but could the Florida Panhandle see snow that will stick to the ground long enough to enjoy it?

Even the weather channel has issued a winter storm watch for Bay County and surrounding areas!

Could we possibly have a snow day in Florida? That would be pretty exciting, yet very very cold at the same time! It makes me remember to dress very warm if I want to go outside in the morning to get the chance to see it!

Let’s all cross our fingers!

Take a walk!

It’s so beautiful outside but that “Southern Breeze” is blowing through me to the core! I think people don’t realize the difference between Southern cold and Northern cold.  I’m not complaining too much because the Northern states are having REALLY bad blizzards coming through which I believe might be a 3rd time in the past few months! But I can say that the Southern kind of cold is harsh because that gulf breeze blows in and makes your face hurt! I’m very excited that within a month, it will be bikini season and the town will be full of life again with all of the beach businesses re-opening for the 2010 season!

I really do enjoy the winter time around here because there are so many gorgeous days like today where blue skies and a great jacket will keep you toasty and warm! So hop in the car, head down to the beach and walk along the water. Take pictures, clear your head and remember that 2010 will be a great year!

So I woke up this morning to the rain beating down so hard, I could barely go back to sleep! I thought all my plans I had made for today in regards to Mardi Gras in Pier Park were ruined.

But that’s what I love about Florida weather; If you don’t like it, wait 5 minutes..it’ll change!

It’s finally cleared up with some over hanging clouds and it’s about 58 degrees right now!

If you’re going to be heading down to Pier Park this weekend for the Mardi Gras Festivities hosted by the Krewe of Dominique Youx, bring a jacket because it’s going to get a little chilly tonight..around 48 degrees!

I’m one of those people who is not fond of cold weather and 2009-2010 just happened to have the record lows throughout the whole country!

Spring Break in Panama City Beach,FL is just around the corner and I can’t wait to soak up some rays and relax on the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches!
